and Government meeting chronology
January 2008 - present
In the time that the Pharmaceutical Task Force was struck (November 2007), released their recommendations (May 2008) and begun implementation (May 2008 to present), the Better Pharmacare Coalition has met with the Government more times than any other patient group on this issue. Following is a chronology of our meetings.
January 2008:
- Presentation given to the Pharmaceutical Task Force members
- Multi-lateral stakeholder meeting hosted by the BC Ministry of Health Services
- Multi-lateral stakeholder meeting hosted by the BC Ministry of Health Services
- meeting in Victoria with then Health Minister, Hon. George Abbott
- meeting with Pharmaceutical Task Force implementation team, David Morel, Paul Gudaitis and Eric Lun
- meeting with Pharmaceutical Services Division - Michael MacDougall and Paul Gudaitis
- meeting with Fraser Randall (Ministerial Assistant to current Health Minister, Hon. Kevin Falcon)
